We strongly believe that God never intended for us to live alone. It is so easy for most of us to get caught up in the chaos of the individual mindset. I must do this, I must do that. Living out God's purpose for our lives means, yes facing those challenges head on, but also recognizing that we have a whole community around us that is facing those same daily struggles. By living in community, we are living in alignment with God's will.

We at Jericho are dedicating this page to all the wonderful community resources available to us in the Ottawa Area. Our strength is in numbers, and finding help can often be a question away. You are never alone.

Community to Community

We are always looking to expand our network and love to link organizations in our area. If you would like your community to connect with Jericho further and have your information freely advertised here, please fill out the form to connect us with your organization.

Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous meetings are 12-Step based recovery programs that offer peer support and community. If you are looking for meetings, you can follow the links to the AA & NA websites to find all of the current and available meetings in the Ottawa Area.

There are two main types of meetings that one should be aware of, open and closed.

Closed meetings are for addicts/alcoholics only, or those who feel that they may have a problem with alcohol/drugs; Open meetings are available to all, including friends and family.

The Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre offers a range of services to help individuals struggling with a substance abuse problem.
